Botswana College of Engineering & Technolgy – AUGUST  DIPLOMA PROGRAMME INTAKE
These programmes are Validated by UB and successful candidates will be awarded UB Diplomas.


1. DEE110 Diploma in Electrical and Electronic engineering

2. DME110 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

3. DCE110 Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering
4. DIG110 Diploma in Geomatics
5. DWE110 Diploma in Water and enviromental engineering


a) The general Entry requirements to BCET is BGCSE or equivalent qualification with 6 subjects.
b) Applicants should hold BGCSE or equivalent qualification with a minimum of C in Maths and either Physics or Physical Science or Science Double Award; Pass of atleast E in English should be among the qualifying subjects.
c) BGCSE points must be 30 or BGCSE with 26 points + NCC.
d) Applicants possessing a relevant Engineering certificate may also apply.
e) Applicants shall be considered only for the study programme they have applied for.
f) Preference would be given to those who completed BGCSE with the last 2 years.
g) Applicants will be required to fulfill the departmental reqiurements for admission.

Accomodation: The college wishes to inform applicants that there is limited hostel accomodation that will be offered to deserving candidates depending on the merit of each applicant.
