Radboud University Nijmegen Admission

RU Application Process

Exchange Students

Exchange students have a wide variety of courses to choose from at RU. More than 250 courses are offered in English. In order to apply, you must fill in the online application by the mentioned deadlines.

Bachelor’s Students

For Bachelor’s programmes, certain requirements need to be fulfilled. Information about the different programmes offered is available online, as is information about the admission process. Requirements vary on your programme. Find your programme to find out what your specific requirements are. There is only one (the International Economics and Business) Bachelor’s programme that’s taught in English. Therefore, you will have to prove your proficiency in Dutch if applying for any other Bachelor programme at RU. Make sure you take into account these language requirements when applying.

Master’s Students

For Master’s programmes, necessary information is also available online. Make sure you check your specific programme’s page to find out what specific requirements may be needed.

General admission requirements and details for admission for Master’s programmes differ from those for Bachelor’s programmes. Note that there are specific language requirements when applying for a Master’s programme in the Netherlands. The application procedure also differs. Remember, you must apply through Studielink. There is information about the general application procedure for Master’s students, but note that you should check your programme’s specific requirements as well.

PhD Programmes

RU also offers PhD programmes. PhD positions are considered as staff positions in the Netherlands and therefore have no formal admission requirements like Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees.

3. RU Tuition Fees

Tuition fee information for Master’s and Bachelor’s programmes for this year is available online. For more information on student finance, grants, and loans, also check out the Studentify government aid page.
